Behind the name Tyler Bryant lies a very specific set of requirements: the Supro Black Magick Reverb TB fulfils these requirements with 35 watts drawn from two 6L6 power tubes — tubes with a rich, full-bodied sound and more open headroom than the 6973s found in the standard Black Magick, with a frequency response that emphasises clear mid-range and well-defined bass. The Supro BD12 speaker, the combo’s sole driver, handles this power with the directionality of a custom-tuned 12-inch unit: crisp forward projection, with no dispersion in the transition frequencies.
Four 12AX7 preamp valves and one 12AT7 form a dual-channel design controlled via Volume 1 and Volume 2 — two distinct channels on a single rear input. The internal Supro transformer stabilises the supply voltage under stage load and helps maintain bass response at high volumes. Treble and Bass controls shape the tonal character; the Master control governs the overall power. The tremolo — adjustable for Speed and Depth — and the reverb — controlled by its own Reverb potentiometer — are activated via the dual TRS footswitch; the SF2 Supro Dual is sold separately.
The poplar cabinet, finished in Black Scandia with black piping and a Supro Silver/Black grille, anchors the combo’s aesthetic within the brand’s visual identity. Weighing 22.2 kg and measuring 520 × 476 × 222 mm, the TB fits on a stage without the need for heavy staging. The multiple outputs — 16, 2 × 8 and 2 × 4 ohms — allow for the addition of an extension cabinet without any impedance constraints.
