Tascam - ML-4D/OUT-X
The ML-4D/OUT-X is a 4-channel line-output interface with XLR connectors, designed for professional applications requiring Dante-to-analogue conversion. Compatible with Dante and AES67, it combines a full-featured DSP, an internal mixer and PoE power supply in a compact half-rack format, suitable for studios, broadcast installations and sound reinforcement systems alike.
Presentation
Designed for professional environments, the ML-4D/OUT-X supports 4 Dante input channels and 4 Dante output channels, offering a wide range of audio routing and distribution options. Its compatibility with Dante, AES67, Dante Controller and Dante Domain Manager ensures seamless integration into existing infrastructures, whether in a studio, a conference system, a TV set or a fixed installation.
At the heart of the unit, the integrated DSP allows for precise customisation of each signal’s processing. Each output can be fitted with a 10-band equaliser, a delay, a limiter, as well as various level and polarity settings. The internal 6 × 4 mixer, combined with an 8 × 8 routing matrix, allows you to create multiple independent mixes and distribute them simultaneously to the analogue or Dante outputs. The automatic ducking and ambient noise compensation (ANC) functions provide additional flexibility for scalable installations.
Powered by PoE or via an optional power supply, and controllable using the Tascam DCP Connect and EZ Connect software, the ML-4D/OUT-X offers a compact, reliable solution that is perfectly suited to modern professional audio networks.
