Tascam - MM-2D-X
The MM-2D-X is a 2-input/2-output analogue interface with XLR connectors, designed for professional audio installations based on Dante and AES67. Its on-board DSP processing, PoE power supply and half-rack form factor make it an ideal solution for broadcast, studios, conference rooms or fixed installations.
Presentation
This MM-2D-X version stands out for its XLR connectors, which are ideally suited to mobile applications, recording studios, broadcast control rooms and live events. Its 1U half-rack format allows it to be installed under a table, in a technical rack or side-by-side with a second converter using the optional rack-mount kit.
Beyond audio conversion, the MM-2D-X features a powerful DSP capable of handling all signal processing. Each input features gain control, a compressor, a 4-band equaliser, automatic level control, polarity reversal and mute. The outputs, meanwhile, feature a 10-band equaliser, a delay, a limiter and full level control. A built-in 6 x 4 mixer, combined with a 10 x 6 routing matrix, enables highly advanced configurations without the need for an external processor.
Compatible with Dante Controller, Dante Domain Manager and AES67, the MM-2D-X integrates seamlessly into modern professional audio networks. Its PoE power supply, software control via Tascam DCP Connect and EZ Connect, and the ability to store 50 scenes make it an extremely flexible interface for professional installations requiring reliable, scalable and centralised audio management.
