The Captor X 16 loadbox doesn't just dampen the decibels, it also opens the doors to a truly mobile studio. Thanks to its virtual speaker technology based on impulse response (IR), you can choose from 32 modelled baffles, 8 microphones per speaker, and 8 different acoustics. All controllable directly from your phone. The icing on the cake: 160,000 microphone positions waiting for you to fine-tune your take. All without a single microphone in the room.

The Two Notes Torpedo Captor X 16 doesn't just send the signal into a black box. It transforms it, sculpts it, and sublimates it with tools that even your DAW would envy. The Enhancer function adjusts bass, treble and presence, while the Twin Tracker creates a natural stereo doubler in real time. For ambience, the SPACE stereo reverb takes your signal from a hushed bedroom to a cathedral hangar. And it's all controlled from the device or the Torpedo Remote app, depending on your mood... or your laziness.

Designed for modern configurations, the Captor X 16 includes intelligently routable XLR DI outputs: stereo, doubled mono or dry/wet, you choose who hears what.
