Universal Audio presents the SD-1, a dynamic microphone inspired by the classic SM7B, designed for both live and studio applications.
With the Universal Audio SD-1 Standard, you can record your vocals, instruments, livestreams, and podcasts with professional results.
This mic's design is focused on close vocal pickups (radio effect) and dialogue. It is relatively unaffected by background noise (VMC, fans, refrigerators, nearby conversations, etc.).
The boost function (3-5 kHz) enhances the presence of vocals and instruments by providing greater clarity.
The presets designed for use with Apollo interfaces equipped with UAD processors provide EQ and compression settings that will make your vocals, guitars, and dialogue sound like they're on the radio.
And with Hemisphere, the modeling plug-in offered by Universal Audio, you also have access to several legendary vintage microphones.
