With the Sphere DLX, derived from the famous Townsend Labs Sphere L22, Universal Audio allows you to record with the best microphones in history.
Based on the principle of modeling, the UA Sphere DLX gives you access to the sound of classic microphones from the history of the music industry, found behind famous titles by The Beatles, Beyoncé, Radiohead or Frank Sinatra, to name a few.
The models used during your recordings are not definitive, you can choose to listen to your takes with other emulations afterwards to determine whether the result would blend better into the mix or not.
You can even record in stereo (for example acoustic guitars, a piano, strings, brass, etc.) using only one microphone, the Sphere DLX, thanks to its two gold-sputtered diaphragms. Plus, it delivers the lowest noise level of any microphone in its class.
The UA Sphere DLX comes complete with a professional shock mount, 25-foot cable, mic stand mount, and hard case.

C'est un très beau micro que j'ai acheté après avoir consulté divers forums qui sont fréquentés par des spécialistes sonorisateurs du monde entier et qui reconnaissent l'intérêt de ce produit.
En résumé, il s'agit d'un micro qui coûte le prix d'un bon micro et qui permet d'avoir à sa disposition une trentaine de micros légendaires grâce à la modélisation (U67, C414,etc..).
Cette modélisation permet également de corriger les effets de salle qui colorent le son de façon négative.
Beaucoup de travail en perspective pour arriver à bien le maîtriser mais, à ne pas en douter, le résultat sera au rendez-vous....
