Designed to go beyond the traditional prepared piano, the downloadable Augmented Piano licence offers 24 preparations taken from a 1909 Pleyel, recorded using three microphone set-ups and 23,889 samples. Each source offers a distinct character, whilst the multi-track functionality in UVI Workstation and Falcon facilitates layering and the creation of hybrid sounds.
The three signals can be mixed separately, with control over release volume, sympathetic resonance and the pedal. The interface also includes an ADSR envelope, a multimode filter, a filter envelope, tone control and portamento. The effects section features IR, Drive, EQ, Thorus, Phaser, Delay and Sparkverb to fine-tune the sound or its placement in the mix.
With 164 presets and a 14.08 GB FLAC library, this downloadable licence is ideal for composers, producers and musicians seeking original sonic possibilities. It supports music production, composition and sound experimentation in a professional studio.
