With the latter becoming rare and unaffordable on the second-hand market (over €15,000 on average), the Warm Audio teams decided to create an alternative to this studio icon, but always with the Warm philosophy in mind: the best components, the best price.
The result is the WA-8000, which has quickly become a benchmark for thousands of artists around the world, praising Warm Audio's ability to rediscover Sony's big plus: that 'airy' sound.
The limited WA-8000G version, in addition to being totally Golden, takes up the design of its predecessor to ensure an airy, brilliant and crystalline sound, with a very characteristic bump in the midrange in the 7-12kHz range.
