The '87 Classic is arguably the microphone large diaphragm condenser most widely used in the history of the recording of Pop. Rather than basing the circuit of our WA-87 current productions of this microphone, we have decided to strictly follow the original circuit, which dates back almost half a century. As is the case with many conventional microphones, the technicians who have worked with different versions of these microphones often prefer the warmest nature and forgivable first produced models. The desire to reintroduce the heat of the conventional microwave affordable was the inspiration behind the WA-87.
