Presentation
The ebony fingerboard is dense and smooth, allowing precise playing across the full range of the 24 medium frets, while the 863.6 mm pitch ensures good bass response. As for the electronics, this BBNE2 features two Yamaha Custom Stack pickups combined with a full active circuit, with 3-band EQ, midrange cutoff switch and frequency control. The result is a finely sculpted sound, whether for a mellow groove or more incisive passages.
The Yamaha BPZ-7 bridge, Gotoh tuning machines and gold hardware enhance playing comfort and tuning stability.
