The Yamaha HS8 is a 2-way, bi-amplified monitoring speaker equipped with an 8" cone woofer (75 W) and a 1" dome tweeter (45 W), to deliver a total power of 120 W. The speaker is sold individually. Equipped with an exclusive Yamaha waveguide, the HS-8 can produce frequencies up to 30 kHz, and give the most faithful reproduction. Opt for precise and detailed listening - essential in the studio - with the Yamaha HS8 speakers!
Presentation
The Control Room offers several positions 0 dB, -2 dB or -4 dB to attenuate the low frequencies that occur artificially when the speakers are positioned close to the walls. The HIGH TRIM setting can switch between -2 dB, 0 dB or +2 dB to control the treble response.
The cabinet housing the HS8's speakers has been constructed from dense MDF, which eliminates unwanted resonances that can impact the overall sound.
The Yamaha HS8 full-range speaker is equipped with balanced and unbalanced Jack and XLR inputs, allowing you to connect various sources such as a mixing console, keyboards, audio interface or other musical equipment.
