Yamaha's LJ16 ARE Dark Tinted folk guitar features a Medium Jumbo body shape that delivers excellent projection and a wide dynamic range, while being comfortable to play. It benefits from Yamaha's A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment, which gives the wood a resonance and warmth similar to that of an aged instrument. With a solid Engelmann spruce top and solid rosewood back and sides, it's equipped with an SRT Zero Impact pickup system for natural, faithful live amplification.
Presentation
The solid rosewood back and sides add depth to the spectrum, with full bass and controlled treble. The five-ply mahogany and rosewood neck offers good stability, and the ebony fingerboard ensures precision under the fingers. The ebony bridge completes the sober ensemble.
The SRT Zero Impact electronics provide discreet amplification without altering the guitar's appearance. With its dark colour, shiny finish and gold tuners, it's a guitar with character. And for easy transport, it comes with its own hard case.
