Presentation
The Yamaha CXR12 MK3 pair of passive speakers allows you to build a sound system around an external amplifier, giving you the freedom to choose the amplifier best suited to your setup. Each speaker features a 12" woofer and a 1" compression driver, delivering a frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz and a maximum SPL of 124 dB. Their horizontal coverage of 90° and vertical coverage of 60° ensure wide coverage, whether for music or voice announcements.
The pack really comes into its own when you need to quickly adapt your setup to the venue. The two BoomTone DJ SV-200 II stands allow you to raise the speakers to a height of between 100 and 160 cm, with a load capacity of approximately 30 kg per stand and adjustable spacing. If you need on-stage monitors, the speakers’ 52° monitor angle also allows for floor-standing use. The 35 mm inserts offer positions at 0° and -7°, whilst the two parallel NL4MP SpeakON connectors make it easy to connect to your amplifier.
Storage is also provided as part of this set, with a carry bag for the two stands and two Yamaha SPCVR-DXR123 covers for the speakers. Made from nylon and mesh fabric, they minimise exposure to dust, dirt and moisture when you’re transporting or storing your equipment. However, the covers are not designed to protect the speakers from severe weather conditions.
