For sound reinforcement requiring greater presence in the lower end of the spectrum, the two Yamaha CXR15 MK3 passive speakers feature a 15" driver paired with a 1" compression tweeter. The bass-reflex design and frequency response of 50 Hz to 20 kHz cover a large part of the spectrum required for your performances. Each speaker delivers 300 W RMS, with a peak power of 1,200 W and a maximum SPL of 126 dB. With an impedance of 8 Ω, Yamaha recommends an amplifier rated at 600 W RMS into 8 Ω.

The sound dispersion can be adapted to your setup thanks to a horizontal directivity of 90° and a vertical directivity of 60°. The two 35 mm inserts allow each speaker to be mounted on a stand with an orientation of 0° or -7°, whilst the 52° monitor angle is suitable for floor-standing installation. For suspended set-ups, M10 and M8 mounting points are also integrated into the polypropylene enclosure. Connection is via the two SpeakON NL4MP connectors fitted in parallel.

The two BoomTone DJ SV-200 II stands are adjustable from 100 to 160 cm and can support approximately 30 kg each, featuring a safety pin with a groove and adjustable spacing. A carry bag is also included with the stand pack, which is handy when you’re packing up your set-up after a gig or event. For the speakers, the two Yamaha SPCVR-DXR153 covers, made of nylon and mesh fabric, protect them from dust, dirt and moisture during transport and storage. They are compatible with the CXR15 MK3 and DXR15 MK3, but do not guarantee protection against severe weather conditions.
