Yamaha - TRBX 204 Gray Metallic
With its Gray Metallic look and 1980s heritage, Yamaha's TRBX 204 Gray Metallic is an all-rounder. Its basswood body and five-piece screw neck provide appreciable stability. The YGD H Pickups (Alnico V) provide a dynamic response, ideal for expressive bass lines. Active electronics with 2-band EQ and balance control allow the sound to be adapted to any context, from studio to stage.
Presentation
The PJ ceramic pickup duo includes a splittable neck pickup and a single-coil bridge pickup, allowing you to switch between warm and more dynamic sounds. The active 2-band EQ (bass/treble), combined with a master volume and pickup balance, allows precise adjustments without the need for time-consuming manipulation.
The vintage-style bridge optimises vibration transmission, while the moulded tuning machines ensure reliable tuning. The sober Gray Metallic finish catches the eye without distracting from the essentials. It's a bass designed to play in a variety of styles and contexts, with a balance between ease of use and sonic potential.
