The AKG C1000 S MKIV (4th generation) is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for studio and stage professionals.
Its dual polar pattern (switching between cardioid and hyper-cardioid) makes it a perfectly versatile microphone.
The PB1000 (Presence Boost Adapter) is an accessory that optimises speech intelligibility with 3 settings (5 dB boost between 5 kHz and 9 kHz).

The C1000S is equipped with a small capsule, ideal for recording drum overheads, piano and acoustic instruments. It's extremely rugged and can be used both on stage and in the studio, and is also ideal for radio and TV reporting.
