The Avantone CK-6 Plus continues the tradition of large-diaphragm microphones that focus on simplicity, efficiency and faithful reproduction. It is based on the fundamentals of the CK-6 Classic, but benefits from a slightly larger capsule, increased to 32 mm, which adds extra depth in the lower end of the spectrum. This evolution allows the microphone to respond better to close vocals, acoustic guitars, amps or percussion, while maintaining a balanced reproduction and a level of detail suited to modern recordings.

The CK-6 Plus uses a transformerless condenser design, a technical choice that favours clean, fast reproduction without marked coloration. Its cardioid pick-up pattern allows you to concentrate on the source in front of you while limiting ambient noise, making it a reliable microphone for both home and professional studios. An 80 Hz low-cut filter is available to reduce vibration or low-frequency hiss, while a -10 dB pad provides a safety margin when working with high-acoustic-pressure sources such as a guitar amp.
