AKG - EC81MD Beige
The AKG EC81MD Beige is a miniature lapel microphone designed for vocal applications requiring discretion, intelligibility and stability. Its cardioid capsule provides excellent voice isolation while limiting ambient noise and the risk of feedback on stage or at conferences.
Presentation
Its cardioid capsule focuses the pick-up on the voice while effectively reducing surrounding sounds and the risk of feedback. This directionality improves intelligibility in complex environments such as theatre stages, TV sets or corporate events with powerful broadcast systems.
The EC81MD Beige has a particularly discreet ergonomic design. Its adjustable BTE and adjustable headband allow precise positioning without the need for external assistance. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt to different body shapes and ensures a stable fit during movement, stage performances or prolonged interventions.
The microphone gives a natural, detailed reproduction of the voice over a wide range of tessituras, from low voices to soprano registers. Its electromagnetic protection limits the interference likely to occur in environments heavily equipped with HF systems, LED lighting or digital equipment.
Thanks to its Microdot connector, the EC81MD Beige can be used with various wireless systems via compatible adapters. The set comes with a number of accessories designed to optimise use in professional conditions, including protective windscreens, anti-perspiration protection and elements dedicated to stage make-up.
Its beige finish also makes it easy to integrate visually into stage, television or event applications where the microphone needs to remain as unobtrusive as possible in the image.
