Presentation
Designed for live, broadcast or fixed installation environments, the Qu-5D combines the ergonomics of analogue consoles with modern digital flexibility. Its 96 kHz XCVI engine delivers ultra-low latency (<0.7 ms), for smooth, responsive mixing of even the most complex projects. This console is ideal for technicians looking for a compact tool that doesn't compromise on performance.
The Qu-5D features 17 motorised 100mm faders, accompanied by a capacitive 7" touchscreen, four layers of fully assignable channels and 8 customisable SoftKeys. The interface has been completely redesigned to offer a fast, clear and immediate user experience, whether for FOH mixing, monitoring or streaming. The 'walk-up-and-mix' approach eases the transition for users used to analogue.
On the processing side, this DEEP-Ready version features the dynamic modules of the dLive system, including parametric equalisers, compressors, gain assistants and feedback control. The integrated Automatic Mic Mixer (32 channels) automatically optimises gain for conferences and TV recordings, without adding latency. The Feedback Assistant identifies and attenuates up to 16 disturbing frequencies per mix in real time.
32x32 USB-C connectivity, a multi-channel SD port and USB-A Qu-Drive allow you to record in stereo or multitrack, directly to a computer or stand-alone device. All without additional drivers, and Core Audio, ASIO and WDM compatible. A simple, flexible and professional solution for capturing performances or broadcasting live.
The Qu-5D excels in its ability to integrate with network infrastructures: SLink port for A&H stageboxes, ME compatibility for personal monitor systems, and above all an integrated 16x16 Dante interface in 48 or 96 kHz. As a result, it's a natural choice for permanent installations, churches or modular stage set-ups.
Finally, each input is fully processed: gate, low-cut filter, insert, 4-band EQ, compressor, delay, with adjustable sidechain. The outputs are not to be outdone, with graphic EQ, compressor, delay and automatic feedback suppression. The Qu-5D offers a level of control and customisation that meets the most demanding technical requirements, while remaining accessible.
