Presentation
The SQ-Rack houses Allen & Heath's 96 kHz XCVI core in an ultra-rugged rack-mount chassis. It delivers 48 channels of audio processing with a latency of less than 0.7 ms, putting it right up there with professional touring standards. Thanks to its high-end converters and 96-bit processing precision, the signal remains clean, detailed and powerful, even in the most complex configurations.
Designed for touring technicians, event service providers and permanent venues, this digital rack bridges the gap between these worlds. It integrates just as well into a complete FOH system as it does into a broadcast control room or concert hall. With its 16 high-quality microphone preamps, 3 stereo inputs, 14 line outputs and network expansion slot, it meets all connectivity requirements.
The processing section includes an impressive arsenal as standard: 4-band EQ, Peak/RMS compressor, fast gate, graphic EQ on each mix, high-flying stereo effects, RTA analyser... Above all, DEEP compatibility means you can embed compressor and studio preamp emulations without latency, without an external DSP card, without limitation.
The SQ-Rack is also a powerful multi-channel interface: direct multitrack recording to USB, 32x32 audio interface in 96 kHz DAW compatible, everything you need to capture a concert, do a virtual sound check or record a live performance. The SQ-Drive function even lets you record without a computer, directly to a USB stick or disc.
When it comes to control, there's total flexibility: colour touchscreen, assignable encoders and SoftKeys, direct access to faders, plus SQ MixPad, SQ-Control and SQ4You applications for remote management or simplified access. Even without a physical control surface, everything you need to manage your sound in real time is at your fingertips.
Finally, full compatibility with Allen & Heath's ME Personal Monitoring system means that every musician can manage their monitor independently. The SQ-Rack is both the heart of a complete system and a formidable stand-alone tool. It slips just as easily into a fixed installation as into a flight for touring. Solid, versatile, connected.
