Edge Solo, a single-diaphragm version of Antelope Audio's top-of-the-range microphone with modelling of many legendary microphones.

Presentation
Edge Solo is Antelope Audio's top-of-the-range large-diaphragm microphone based on modelling technology that gives you access to the sounds of legendary microphones with astonishing realism.
Edge Solo is the easiest mic in the Edge range to use: just plug it in like any other condenser mic to a mic preamp input on your interface, choose an emulation and record.
Emulations will be even more faithful to the original mics if you plug the mic into an Antelope Audio interface with an on-board FPGA processor: Discrete 4 or 8, Orion Studio Rev. 2017, Goliath or Goliath HD, Zen Tour.
If you don't have any of these interfaces, the microphone emulations will be managed natively (by your computer's processors). You'll even be able to change models after you've finished recording.

Fabrication de qualité, dommage que le mode d’emploi ne soit pas en français, enregistrement du produit sur le site Antelope laborieuse, accès aux plug-in du micro fastidieuse… Même soucis qu’à l’achat et l’enregistrement de ma carte son Antelope … Dommage …

Le micro est bien fini, après quelques tests il apparaît que le son est très neutre et les émulations fonctionnent bien.

Je n'ai pas encore eu le temps de bien le prendre en main mais mes premiers essais sont encourageants. Bonne qualité de fabrication, bonne réponse en fréquence, il me faudra encore tester les plugins d'émulation des différents micros.
