The B&C Speakers DE200 16 Ohm compression driver is a well-established solution in the world of professional sound reinforcement, appreciated for its balance between performance, compactness, and ease of integration. Designed for two-way systems or dedicated high-frequency speakers, this 25 mm (1") throat driver is based on a 44 mm aluminum voice coil, coupled with a titanium diaphragm, a proven duo that delivers clean, fast, and stable reproduction up to 18 kHz.
With a sensitivity of 106 dB and a frequency response ranging from 1 to 18 kHz, the DE200 is responsive even at low power. It can handle up to 100 W in program mode (50 W continuous), making it a good compromise for applications where high intelligibility is required without necessarily aiming for very high SPL levels.
It is particularly at home in compact front speakers, stage monitors, or vocal monitors.
The ferrite magnetic circuit generates a 1.5 T field, with a controlled inductance of 0.14 mH, which promotes responsiveness and Transient clarity. The recommended crossover frequency is around 1.6 kHz, allowing for smooth crossover with midrange drivers of varying diameters.
Its dual mounting format (2 or 3 points) makes it compatible with a wide range of standard horns.
Robust, easy to operate, and acoustically consistent, the DE200 is a driver that adapts equally well to fixed configurations and mobile systems where reliability is as important as sonic accuracy.
