B&C Speakers - DE602 8 Ohm Driver

The B&C Speakers DE602 8 Ohm Driver is a compression driver designed to reproduce clear, detailed high frequencies in professional loudspeakers. With a 65 mm aluminium voice coil and titanium diaphragm, it guarantees great mechanical stability and clear sound reproduction throughout the high-frequency range, from 1 kHz to 18 kHz.

Capable of handling 80 W AES (160 W programme), this motor delivers a comfortable power reserve to meet the demands of live sound reinforcement. Its high sensitivity of 108 dB ensures optimum efficiency, enabling you to obtain a high volume while maintaining excellent precision. This is a major advantage for both fixed installations and mobile systems.

The DE602 8 Ohm benefits from a robust design based on a powerful 1.55 T ferrite magnetic circuit. This configuration improves linearity and limits distortion, even at high volumes. The addition of a copper cap further reduces the effects of inductance, guaranteeing smooth, even high-frequency reproduction.

Compact and solid, this motor measures 145 mm in diameter, is 65 mm deep and weighs 3.4 kg. Its 4-point M6 mounting system on a 101.6 mm centre distance makes it compatible with a wide range of horns, offering great versatility for integration in a variety of configurations.
