Electro-Voice - RE3-HHT96-5L

Designed to offer excellent acoustic control on stage at very high levels, the RE3-HHT96 features special acoustic and structural designs that deliver performance that allows significantly more gain than most microphones before reaching feedback in a mix.

The microphone head incorporates a presence control with selector switch that can be engaged to reduce certain low and mid frequencies and thus accentuate key areas of mid-high vocal presence, to increase intelligibility when sound levels are very high.

The microphone head features an innovative capsule shock-absorber system, consisting of a four-point suspension around the perimeter of the capsule and combined with a pneumatic pump tuned to the base of the capsule, providing superior handling noise reduction to eliminate mechanical vibration and noise in the mix.

Set-up is quick and simple thanks to the RE3's clear scan and frequency sync functions, and the radio link between the robust handheld transmitter and diversity receiver provides rock-solid system performance.

Charging contacts allow functional use with the optional BC2 charging station, with rechargeable NiMH batteries built into the beltpack transmitters so they don't need to be removed for recharging.
