EMG - 58 Humbucker Pickup White

The EMG 58 doesn't try to sound like other active humbuckers. It features a rounder, more natural voicing, designed for guitarists who want to break away from the usual pattern of aggressive, cutting-edge sounds. Inspired by the response of a P-90, it retains the power of an active pickup, but with a softer attack, more discreet compression and a nice midrange presence.

It's particularly effective on guitars with fixed bridges or simple configurations, especially when combined with a tube amp. Clean tones remain open, and saturations retain good definition without excessive brightness. In the studio and live, it's stable, quiet and easy to manage in the mix.

Like all recent EMG active pickups, it comes with solderless cabling, which means it can be quickly installed without the need to modify the instrument's original cabling. All components are supplied, from the stereo jack to the 25k pots. Power is supplied via a 9V battery, with approximately 600 hours of autonomy.
