The EMG Bajo Gold microphone is a professional pick-up solution for bajo sexto and bajo quinto instruments. Its customised preamp generates a broadband signal with an output noise of -96 dBV. The 0.5 V output voltage and 2 kΩ impedance ensure seamless integration with PA systems. Adjustable magnetic poles allow precise balancing between strings.

The EMG Bajo Gold sets a new standard for sexto and quinto bajo pickups. Its active magnetic design combined with a gold finish delivers crystal-clear acoustic response and visual presence on stage. The bespoke preamp works in absolute silence, eliminating any parasitic hiss for signal purity.
You adjust the balance between the strings using individual magnetic poles. This precision allows you to bring out the deep bass characteristic of the bajos without sacrificing the clarity of the treble. The integrated volume control fits discreetly into the tailpiece for real-time adjustments during your performance.
Installation uses the EMG solderless system, with colour-coded connectors and pre-wired endpin jack. Adhesive fasteners and an included battery holder simplify installation. Two CR2032 batteries provide extended battery life for longer sessions.
