The EMG Retro Active Fat 55 Black set produces vintage 50s and 60s sound with a modern twist thanks to its built-in active preamp. This humbucking pickup delivers warm lows and precise highs, perfect for blues, classic rock and light hard rock. Its moderate output level preserves the full dynamic range of your playing, from clean to overdriven.
Thanks to its Alnico V magnets, it delivers a warm, articulate response, with the natural grain typical of vintage humbuckers.
