The EMG Fat 55 Neck Set Black recreates the spirit of '50s pickups. They feature open coils, Alnico 5 magnets and a warm voice. Every note comes out full-bodied, with great definition in both bass and treble.
The integrated FET preamp handles the signal smoothly. There's no parasitic hiss. The deliberately lower midrange curve lets the chords breathe more easily. In neck position, solos sing and riffs remain thick, without drowning.
With its low impedance, this set fits seamlessly into any configuration. The 9V battery lasts for over 1,400 hours, even during intensive rehearsals. Solderless installation eliminates the need for DIY. All components are included, right down to the screws and cables.
