The EMG GH Red pickups bring together two benchmarks under a flamboyant red bonnet. On the bridge side, the EMG 81 pushes the midrange, with tight sustain. Up front, the 89R switches between humbucker and single-coil on demand, thanks to a push/pull system.
This duo covers a wide spectrum: precise riffs, singing leads, muscular crunch. The integrated preamp maintains a constant, hum-free output, even at high gain. Each pickup is powered via a solderless system. The kit includes full cabling, ready to connect.
Interaction remains intuitive. Two volumes, two tones, a well-placed push/pull. The components fit into a Strat body with a Tune-O-Matic centre distance. All the cables are there: power supply, stereo jack, microphones and connectors. Two pairs of screws + springs included.
