Guitar Microphone
EMG's H1A Bridge Black pickup is just the thing if you want a dense, uncompressed sound. This passive model with Alnico V/steel (A/S) magnets features powerful coils for a clean attack. The high inductance gives weight to every note. It comes out of the mix without straining, and its black look adds a raw edge that really hits the spot.

Presentation
The EMG H1A Black Chrome pickup has a raw, generous character. This passive humbucker features overloaded coils for more natural gain. Its high DC resistance boosts dynamics without compressing timbre.
The series connection provides real volume without electronic tricks. In the bridge, it hits hard. In the neck, it retains good midrange articulation. The result remains organic, even with a high drive.
The wiring is as simple as possible. No soldering iron required, no active circuit to integrate. You can assemble everything in just a few minutes, thanks to the complete kit supplied with the mic.
Its short length (10 mm axis) makes it ideal for guitars with small soundboards. It's easy to connect with other EMG-HZ pickups, so there's no need to worry about compatibility. With its black cover and logo, it has a sober but not timid look. It's functional enough to add a little grit to a guitar that's lacking in bite.
