In the bridge position, the EMG H2A-B Bridge stands out for its double winding, Alnico V and steel magnets, which provide a warm, vintage grain with good clarity and a precise attack.
Thanks to this type of magnet, the H2A-B delivers a medium output level, slightly higher than the neck version, to compensate for the natural drop in volume in the bridge position. This makes for more dynamic riffs, more present solos and a grain rich in harmonics without ever becoming over-saturated. The result is a pickup capable of covering a wide range of styles, including classic rock, blues, jazz and even some more advanced saturation, while retaining a beautiful musicality.
Another advantage of the H2A-B is its solderless cabling system, which greatly simplifies installation and any configuration changes. It's also compatible with all the other passive microphones in the EMG-HZ series, giving you the freedom to compose your set to suit your preferences.
