The H3-F is based on the EMG H3, but in a format designed to fit Floyd Rose bridges. It's slightly wider than its predecessor, which means it's better aligned with the strings on this type of bridge. Each string is picked up evenly, with no loss of signal or imbalance in volume.

The H3 F is based on the EMG H3, but in a format designed to fit Floyd Rose bridges. It's slightly wider than its predecessor, which means it's better aligned with the strings on this type of bridge. Each string is picked up evenly, with no loss of signal or imbalance in volume.
Inside, the coils are over-wound with a ceramic magnet. This combo produces a higher output level than a conventional PAF, while maintaining good clarity. The sound is clean and slightly deep in the midrange, with brilliant highs and a firm, well-maintained bass.
In bridge position, it reacts quickly under the fingers, even in saturated distortion. Harmonics come out easily, palm mutes are compact and the sound remains legible, even at high gain. It takes the strain without crashing, making it ideal for hard-edged riffs, precise rhythms or attacking leads.
The H3-F is also compatible with all EMG HZ passive pickups and works with EMG accessories such as VLPF, EXG, SPC or RPC modules.
