EMG - H3A-F Floyd Black

The EMG H3A-F is a dual-coil passive humbucker designed for guitars with a Floyd Rose bridge. It has the same features as the H3A, but with a pin spacing adapted to the F-spaced format. This model uses Alnico V magnets, which produce a warm, balanced sound that's less aggressive than ceramic pickups. The highs are less sharp and less shrill, so are more pleasing to the ear when the gain is turned up or when playing clean. Notes are well distributed across the spectrum.

With its fairly high output (13.65 kΩ), this microphone is suitable for saturated sounds without becoming muddy. It retains good definition even with a lot of gain, making it useful for playing heavy riffs, full chords or clean solos. You can use it in styles like rock, hard rock, melodic metal or even blues with a bit of drive.

It's compatible with other EMG HZ pickups and is cabled without soldering for easy assembly. When playing, it provides good note separation and natural sustain. It responds well to playing dynamics without overpowering the attack.
