The EMG RT "Rip Tide" active set is the perfect choice for bassists who want a sound that's both powerful and detailed. Developed in collaboration with Robert Trujillo, this set is based on EMG J Set technology, renowned for its exceptional clarity and dynamics. It's perfectly suited to funk, metal and rock styles, offering a wide sound palette that highlights the precision of your playing, whether in slap, picking or aggressive riffs.
This set is distinguished by its simplified installation thanks to the solderless Quick-Connect cabling, making assembly accessible without the need for soldering. It's ideal for 4-string basses with Jazz Bass spacing, as well as certain 5-string basses with reduced space.
The little extra compared to other pickups? Its stainless steel covers, which give it an attractive finish while ensuring good resistance to wear.
