The EMG S4 is a single-format, dual-coil passive pickup designed for guitarists who want a powerful, accurate sound without losing clarity. Thanks to its rail construction with side-by-side coils and ceramic magnets, it limits interference while retaining a good response to the nuances of playing. The bass and midrange reinforce the body of the sound, while the treble remains clean and articulate.
Ideal for rock, light metal or blues styles, the S4 fits perfectly in either neck or bridge position. It delivers powerful riffs and retains the definition you need for expressive solos. Its rail design also ensures a consistent attack, even on bends or when drop tuning.
