Each pickup is internally shielded to minimise unwanted noise, so you can play cleanly, even at high volume.
The integrated low-impedance active preamp delivers excellent dynamics, respecting the natural grain of your playing and the balance between strings.
Ceramic magnets ensure a clean, bright response, without being aggressive. The sound remains balanced, with well-defined highs, present midrange and solid bass. This type of magnet delivers great clarity in all styles, from funk and metal to blues and pop. The SX Set also stands out for its power reserve. You'll feel a clean attack and excellent sensitivity under your fingers, even on the lightest nuances.
It's compatible with active EMG controls (such as VLPF or SPC), and runs on a 9V power supply.
