Presentation
The Spectra Bass JS2 features a bolt-on maple neck with a beveled joint, reinforced for stability and durability over time, while its laurel fingerboard with a variable radius of 12 to 16 inches allows for smooth and fast playability.
The J-style (bridge) and P-style (neck) pickups on this bass provide a wide range of tones, from powerful and defined lows to clear and precise highs. The volume control, combined with a push/pull selector, allows for easy switching from active to passive mode, offering great flexibility in settings. The bass boost, meanwhile, further enriches the sound by reinforcing the low frequencies, ideal for a variety of styles ranging from funk to rock.
The Spectra Bass JS2 is equipped with a Jackson HiMass fixed bridge, ensuring optimal stability and better resonance. This design improves the sustain and balance of the strings, ensuring a rich and full sound.
On the design side, its black hardware and its unique 2x2 machine head bring a modern aesthetic touch while remaining faithful to Jackson's visual identity.
