The Keeley Octa Psi is a pedal that combines three powerful sound worlds in a compact format: analogue fuzz, octave and pitch-shifter.
It features three fuzz modes (Scoop, Punch and Psi), capable of transforming your riffs into massive walls of sound while respecting the character of your guitar.
This thick analogue saturation, powered by a transistor circuit, delivers impressive sustain and a rich harmonic response.
When it comes to octave and pitch-shift, Octa Psi opens up a whole new world of possibilities. With three modes (Up, Down and Dual) and eight pitch positions, it can be used to create polyphonic harmonies, enriched chords and spectacular effects such as shifting choruses and dizzying descents.
The ramping time can be adjusted to simulate smooth bends, and players can choose between a momentary or latching mode, to trigger effects on a one-off or continuous basis.
The pedal also stands out for its flexibility of configuration. You can switch the order of the effects (fuzz before or after the octave/pitch), mix between a fully processed signal or a wet/dry blend, and connect an expression pedal to control the parameters live.
