KROSS 2, the long-awaited successor to KROSS, is a compact, portable workstation with a vast range of sounds. While retaining its legendary light weight and compactness, it can also run on batteries. This new model considerably enhances the sounds and functions of the KROSS. In addition to a total of over a thousand preset sounds, you now have the option of extending the PCM memory. Other new features include a pad-triggered sampler. It incorporates real sound sampling. The USB interface turns the instrument into a real audio/MIDI interface. The user interface has been redesigned to be even more intuitive.

This new generation of Workstations not only incorporates most of the sounds that made the M3 such a success, but also features an incredible 3-layer sampled piano sound with pedal resonance.

For the first time, at this price, you get a real workstation with a 16-track Midi sequencer and a multiple audio recorder based on SR1 technology. The Kross also features a drum track with over 700 patterns and a dual arpeggiator with over 900 different arpeggios.

But that's not all! The Kross also includes a step sequencer for rapid rhythm creation! Enough to appeal to fans of vintage synths.
