The two-ply Siam oak shell guarantees structural rigidity without sacrificing the internal resonance of the barrel: the wood works, breathes and colours the sound in a way that synthetic shells cannot. The LPA219 9/32" chrome-plated lugs ensure stable tuning over time, while the LPA425D LP Heart plates and City EZ Curve ring facilitate precise tuning of the skin, without excessive effort on the ring.
Available as a 10"/11" or 11"/12" duo, these congas cover everything from traditional Afro-Cuban rhythm lines to contemporary Latin pop and fusion grooves. The Vintage Sunburst powder-coated finish gives them a distinctive stage look, while the black hardware adds an elegantly understated touch.
