To find out more...
Before he became a jazz-funk star, Marcus Miller was already playing with great artists at just twenty years of age. His exceptional talent enabled him to work quickly with David Sanborn and Chaka Khan. Marcus Miller likes to create simple but highly effective grooves, often inspired by 1970s funk. He also composes for orchestras and soundtracks. Despite his virtuosity, he remains known for his very human and expressive musical approach. Many young bassists still study his legendary lines today.
