Marcus Miller has taken part in a number of supergroups with other famous bassists. In 2008, he founded the SMV trio with Stanley Clarke and Victor Wooten. This project brings together three of the most respected bassists in the world of jazz and funk. Together, they toured internationally and recorded the album Thunder. The group showcases different approaches to the electric bass, ranging from traditional jazz to modern sounds. SMV concerts are renowned for their virtuosity and energy. This collaboration demonstrates the importance of Marcus Miller in the world of contemporary bass.
