In addition to his musical career, Marcus Miller is actively involved in a number of humanitarian and educational projects. In 2013, he became a UNESCO Artist for Peace. This role enables him to promote musical education and cultural dialogue around the world. Marcus regularly takes part in events to support young musicians and disadvantaged communities. He sees music as a universal language capable of bringing people together. His travels in Africa have also inspired several of his compositions. Through his actions, Marcus Miller shows that music can be used not only as an art form, but also as a tool for transmission and unity.
