Martinez has its roots in Germany, where it was founded in 1978, before establishing a presence in China. In 2005, the brand set up in Guangzhou with a team of experienced instrument makers. The American luthier Kenny Hill then joined the company as a technical adviser. This story combines European heritage, American craftsmanship and Chinese production. Martinez develops classical guitars for a range of levels, from student models to concert instruments. The brand remains true to Spanish traditions, with models inspired by historic luthiers.
