Electric Guitar Effects

The CS550 is as close as you can get to the legendary Boss CE-1 and offers many extra sounds not available with the vintage CE-1. Unlike the sterile chorus sounds of the 80s, the 550 has an edgy, almost grainy quality that keeps your sound articulate and prevents washout. Its custom oscillator circuit offers enough speed for authentic rotary speaker simulation, and just the right amount of modulation for a lush vibrato that won't leave you feeling uncomfortable. With its Delay Time control, the CS550 can venture into flanger territory, adding a resonant quality to the effect that's ideal for solos. A rear-mounted Blend control lets you adjust the level of the Chorus effect back into the mix according to your dry signal. The CS550 has stereo outputs for routing mono, stereo or inverted mono signals.

A unique feature of the CS550 is its ability to create spatial effects that add dimension to your sound without the traditional oscillation of chorus.
With speed and depth set low and delay time at maximum, the 550 thickens your sound, adding roundness and life without excessive modulation.
