The latest incarnation of Maxon's legendary 808, it offers more power, more gain and more options for the musician who simply needs more. The ST-9 adds a Mid Enhance knob to the circuit, loosely based on the classic 808 architecture, to control the amount of midrange boost. This knob works in a similar way to the presence control on an amp, increasing the perceived volume and gain as it is turned up.
