With the ACT-5814A, MIPRO offers a powerful solution for configurations requiring several active wireless channels at the same time. This digital quad-channel receiver uses the 5.8 GHz ISM band, a range that significantly reduces the risk of interference from common technologies such as Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. By using this spectrum, the system guarantees smooth transmission, even in frequency-saturated environments.

Each channel has two predefined frequency groups: Group A with 12 interference-free channels, and Group B with 24 additional channels, for a total of 36 available channels. To secure the use of several systems on the same site, up to 64 separate ID codes can be assigned to each channel. Pairing with compatible transmitters, such as the ACT-580H and ACT-580T, is simplified by the Auto Scan and ACT™ functions, which ensure fast and accurate synchronisation.

The ACT-5800 series uses FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology and True diversity reception to ensure transmission over long distances without signal loss.

On the technical side, the receiver is based on a dual true diversity tuner per channel, guaranteeing stable, drop-out-free reception. The audio is processed in 48 kHz / 24 bits, covering a range from 18 Hz to 23 kHz, with a dynamic range in excess of 120 dBA and a latency of less than 1.5 ms (in Group B). This precision makes for a natural sound reproduction, close to that of a wired connection.

Designed for professional environments, the ACT-5814A is built in a robust 19-inch rack chassis. It has TNC connectors at the rear for feeding active antennas and daisy-chaining up to three receivers. The front-panel display is based on a graphic OLED screen, offering clear legibility from all angles. Each channel has its own balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.35 mm jack output, with adjustable levels from -10 to +20 dB, making it easy to integrate into different audio systems.
