Equipped with the acclaimed ESS Sabre32 ™ DAC technology and a new front panel design, the 8pre-es connects to a Mac, PC or iOS device over Thunderbolt ™ or USB with high-performance, low-latency drivers to deliver 52 channels of I/O audio, The 48-channel mix and DSP effects, including classic reverb, modelled analogue EQ and vintage compression, are inspired by the legendary LA-2A ™. Eight mic / line 'combo' inputs provide transparent preamps with a superb 129dBu EIN, 118dB dynamic range and remote control for individual gain / pad / 48V phantom power. Control room features include an integrated talkback mic with front panel 'talk' button and 'A/B' speaker select buttons. Advanced options include flexible routing and splitting, system expansion, audio networking, stand-alone mixing, Wi-Fi control from mobile devices, DC-coupled analogue outputs and AudioDesk workstation software.
