Presentation
The Motu M4 has 4 inputs with 2 XLR/jack combos capable of accommodating mic, guitar or line. Each has its own adjustable preamp and 48 V phantom power. In addition, 2 balanced line inputs complete the input panel. This gives you great flexibility for a variety of instruments or sources.
The interface delivers accurate 32-bit sound at 192 kHz thanks to ESS Sabre32 Ultra DAC technology, and ultra-low latency ensures real-time monitoring with no annoying lag. The colour LCD screen keeps an eye on the levels, making it easy to control the mix.
As for the Shure MV7X, it features a cardioid capsule with Voice Isolation technology that effectively limits unwanted noise, for clear, natural voice pick-up.
The integrated stand makes it easy to install on a stand or boom, thanks to a standard 5/8" thread, which simplifies home studio set-up. What's more, the microphone has a frequency response designed to reproduce the voice naturally, from 50 Hz to 16 kHz, to capture the full richness of the vocal timbre.
The interface also has 4 balanced 6.3 mm jack outputs and RCA outputs, ideal for connecting several audio systems. The headphone output, driven by ESS converters, provides independent volume control for precise listening.
Compatible with Mac, Windows and iOS, the bundle is plug-and-play, so there's no need to fuss with drivers.
What's more, the bundle comes with high-performance software such as MOTU Performer Lite 10 and Ableton Live Lite 10, plus over 6GB of loops and virtual instruments to get your projects started.
