Presentation
The MuxLab 500459-100 is an HDMI extension kit based on HDBaseT technology, supplied with a transmitter and a receiver. It enables video, audio and control signals to be transported over a single network cable, without the need for a complex infrastructure.
Transmission in 4K can reach 70 metres in 4:4:4 at 60 Hz, with slight compression that remains visually imperceptible. In Full HD, the range rises to 100 metres, making it easy to adapt the installation to suit distance constraints.
The HDMI signal is accompanied by control data. RS232 is used to interact with remote equipment, while the bi-directional IR link ensures the transmission of infrared commands in both directions. This avoids the need for multiple control cables on distributed installations.
The system supports HDR as well as HDCP 2.2, ensuring compatibility with today's sources and displays. All digital audio formats are also transmitted unaltered.
Power can be supplied by a single unit thanks to PoC. The transmitter can power the receiver, or vice versa, simplifying on-site implementation.
The kit is supplied with the accessories required for its use, including a transmitter, a receiver, an IR sensor, an IR transmitter and a power supply. The kit remains coherent for rapid integration into an existing AV system.
